Putting Up

Since 1988, I have kept a record of the food I canned or froze each year. I'm not sure why... maybe because Mom did at one time... maybe because I got a kick out of it (I have a little Grandpa Raymond in me)... or maybe because it assured me I was a "good woman" in the midst of atypical womanly things I was doing.... It has proven useful when figuring out how much to put up this year, based on what I did last year. compared to what is leftover. It brings me no end of pleasure to preserve food with daughter Maureen.

Here is 2023.
