Totally Grandma

 We are 5 weeks out from Maureen's due date. I've had a ball sewing and getting the spare room ready to babysit. We've had lots of fun with showers. I've been told getting to be a grandparent is one of the best things life can give you. This morning as I read a group prayer post I receive- listing the various places around the world where people are suffering and injustices abound, I wondered.... will I still keep up with the world after the babies? Will I be one of those grandmas who can't talk about anything else besides their grandchildren. I'm sure grandma's don't realize they are doing it. And when I'm excited about something I know I can go on and on... It is my goal to continue a focus on the world, to read and pray beyond my household, and to make a concerted effort to ask people about their lives. 

I'm a little worried about fatigue and loss of sleep with two little ones. But the biggest challenge might be to not let my world narrow to just them.
