Sadie Marie

I started this post 4 months ago. It's hard to write the words: our granddaughter died. Sweet Sadie, with loads of curly dark hair, never took a breath. We were all devastated- autopsy says meconium aspiration- which happens when the baby is in distress. Grieving has taken the space in my life where creativity usually occupies.  We are now preparing to mark one year since Sadie Marie was born without life. I couldn't write much at all this past year. I wrote my grief in a letter to Sadie, and added some pictures to make a little book.
